The Target Halloween Clearance is in full effect! All stores should have non-food items marked down to 50% off – this includes costumes, home decor, craft kits, makeup, toys, household supplies and more (food items such as candy and snacks start out at 30% off). If you plan to shop these deals, some items to grab now at 50% off would be licensed costumes, paper towels, cups, plates, napkins, etc. These items almost always sell out first so you’ll only see these at 70% off if you’re lucky.
In addition to those I mentioned, here are two food item deals that I would snag now as well:
- Kraft Mac ‘N Cheese – clearanced to $0.90 per box, and also qualifying for the B3G1 Free offer. Buy (4) boxes and pay just $2.70 OOP – that makes each box just $0.67 each!
- Kool Aid Ghoul-Aid Jammers 20ct packs – clearanced down to $3.28 each and also qualifying for a FREE $5 Target gift card wyb (3). That makes these just $1.67 per 20ct pack after clearance price and gift card! Considering these each have (2) 10ct boxes in them, that’s like paying $0.84 per box!!!
In general Target clearance follows a 3-3-2 schedule. This means that three days after the initial 50% off discount we should see everything move the next step down (70% off for non-food items and 50% off for food items). Then 3 days after that we’ll see it take the next step down (90% off for non-food items and 70% off for food items). Two days after that the items are marked salvage and non-food items are donated to the local Goodwill, while food items are often given to local food pantries.
Last year we saw the clearance markdowns go as follows:
- Nov. 1st = 50% off (bagged candy and food items 30% off)
- Nov. 3rd – Nov. 4th = 70% off (bagged candy and food items 50% off)
- Nov. 7th = 90% off (bagged candy and food items 70% off)
If Target follows the same schedule as last year that means we should see 70% off starting Sunday and Monday!
What finds did you score at the Target Halloween Clearance sale?
