Hooray! I love when ING Direct runs these promotions 🙂 I’ve spoken about this bank before and how wonderful they are, and I have to say – those opinions stand strong. Right now they are offering customers the opportunity to score a free $50 when they open one of their Electric Orange Checking Accounts, provided they follow a few easy steps:
- Head on over here and click the “Apply Now” button
- Open your Electric Orange account and deposit a few bucks. There is no minimum, but you will need at least a few dollars in there for the next step.
- In order to score your bonus, you’ll need to make at least 3 debit card purchases, Person2Person Payments, or any combo of the two within 45 days of opening your account.

I opened my Electric Orange Checking Account during a previous promotion; I made sure my purchases were small to maximize the amount I would net and had no problem getting my bonus.
