Hooray! I’ve found an AWESOME deal going on at Ulta right now – if you flip to page 8 of their current ad, you’ll see that right now you can get a FREE CoverGirl Lash Blast Luxe Mascara when you buy $15 of any CoverGirl cosmetics. Pair that with our lovely $8/2 Covergirl Face Cosmetics coupon we got in last weeks P&G and you’ve got quite a deal.
Here’s what I did:
– Buy (1) CoverGirl Lash Blast Luxe Mascara ($8.99)
– Buy (2) CoverGirl Classic Color Blush ($5.69 each)
– Buy (2) CoverGirl Cheekers Blush ($3.99 each)
– Buy (1) $1 small filler item (I chose nail files; look for the displays of travel items near the checkout register)
= $29.35
– FREE Mascara promotion
– (2) $8/2 CoverGirl Face Product, exp. 10/31/11 (P&G 10/02/11)
= $0.86
*** = that’s a savings of about 97%!
One thing to note is that Ulta’s registers weren’t as well equiped to handle manufacturer coupons as I thought they’d be, so be prepared for some scrutiny. I figured they might s squawk a bit if I tried to buy (4) of the Cheekers due to there being about $0.04 overage after the manufacturer coupons, but you’re certainly welcome to try.
