It’s almost December, and you know what that means! Time to start the choosing the perfect family photo for your holiday cards. I’ll be honest, in past years, we’ve always done these last minute. That means the photo is always a little off season and the cards are whatever is most cost efficient. But this year, I vowed to be better prepared, which means I was just tickled when Mixbook offered me the chance to review their premium matte holiday cards.
There are a TON of designs to choose from. So many that I think I changed my mind about a hundred times – they are all so cute!
Each card is printed with vibrant, rich colors on thick double sided card stock which makes them look very elegant and polished. The design process is very simple and just requires you to upload your photos and then drag and drop them in to the templates. I played with this tool for a while before I settled on this design – the colors complimented the chosen photo perfectly.
I was also pleasantly surprised that the envelopes provided with our order were also very thick and nice, not the flimsy cheap ones I’ve become accustomed to with other companies. Shipping was also fairly quick, which means I got them in plenty of time to address each one and send them out.
All in all, I have to say I am very impressed with the quality and design of these cards. They’re beautiful and I can’t wait to share them with my friends and family.
