I think we can all agree, there’s just nothing like Mom’s home cookin’. It just tastes better, doesn’t it? For that reason I’ve asked my Mom to submit some of her favorite recipes for me to share with y’all each Monday. Let’s get cooking in the kitchen with Mom!
I have a confession – I have a bad habit. And it’s very NON-frugal. Eating out! We are a foody family and that means we love, love, love eating – and that means we enjoy restaurants of all varieties. That can get very expensive for a family of four, especially when two of those four are growing kids who seemingly eat non-stop. I swear, it’s like they have hollow legs!
So, out of the need to save our budget, we’ve been creating copycat recipes of our favorite restaurant foods – and our biggest hit by far has been the Copycat In-n-Out Burger Sauce. This is such an easy way to jazz up your standard burger, and it also tastes great on pork and chicken too! The girls also love it on their fries (Animal Style anyone?!) – and well, I love it on pretty much everything 🙂 Check out our recipe for Copycat In-n-Out Burger Sauce!
