***There has been a slight change to the original Walmart Price Match policy that we saw implemented earlier this week – Walmart will continue to price match Amazon, however they will no longer be price matching third party sellers.***
WOO HOO! Walmart has some BIG, BIG news you guys! Starting tomorrow, November 14th Walmart will begin price matching online prices. This appears to be a permanent policy change, and not just a seasonal one! Here is what you need to know about this new policy thanks to I Heart The Mart:
- You will be able to price match many online retailers including Walmart.com and Amazon.
This includes 3rd party vendors! - If you are buying on Walmart.com you can call a Customer Care Rep and they will perform the price adjustment for you.
- You DO NOT have to bring the ad to be able to price match. Cashiers have authority up to $20, CSM’s $20-$50 and anything over $50 is at The Store Manager’s discretion (Salaried Member of Management). However, that being said you’re always better off having an ad – so just bring it 😉
- You WILL be able to Price Match on Black Friday, however 1-Hour Guarantee items are excluded. You will also NOT be able to print match Walmart.com items between Thanksgiving and Cyber-Monday.
Pretty awesome right?!
Here is a list of stores they are accepting as price match competitors:
Academy.com, Amazon.com, Autozone.com, Babiesrus.com, Basspro.com, Bedbathandbeyond. com, Bestbuy.com, Cabelas.com, Dickssportinggoods.com, Dollar General.com, Familydollar.com, Homedepot.com, Jcpenny.com, Kmart, com, Kohls. com, Lowes. com, Michaels.com, Newegg. com, Officedepot.com, Oreillyauto.com, Pepboys.com, Petco.com, Petsmart. com, Sears.com, SportsAuthority.com, Staples.com, Target.com, Tigerdirect. com, Toysrus.com Walgreens.com, and Walmart.com
Additionally, Walmart will price match select other online retailers, however management will have the final say on whether or not to complete the match.
This is exciting news! I might actually start shopping at Wally World again, lol!
