They say September 21st was the last official day of Summer, but with this heat I beg to disagree. It feels plenty warm to me, and because of that I’ll be Savoring The Flavor of Summer with Daily’s Frozen Cocktail Pouches. We aren’t huge drinkers in my family, but I have to admit, during this Summer heat there is nothing like a cool, slushy Margarita, Pina Colada or Strawberry Daiquiri which is why I just love these Daily’s Frozen Cocktail Drinks.
Daily’s Frozen Cocktail pouches are pre-mixed frozen slushy cocktails that require no mixing! Simply pop your pouch in the freezer, wait a few hours and your cocktail is ready to go. Now, I don’t know about you, but since I rarely indulge in drinks I almost never have all the ingredients to make fancy drinks such as these. I’m also not real inclined to drag out the blender, chop up fruit and all that work for one drink, so these are the PERFECT solution to my problem. They come in a variety of flavors, so there really is something for everyone: Margarita, Strawberry Daiquiri, Pina Colada, Peach Daiquiri, Pomegranate Acai, Lemonade and Light Strawberry Margarita. They’ve also got two seasonal flavors coming out for Fall as well – Hard Cider and Spiced Sangria, yum!
Aside from being impressed with the variety of flavors Daily’s Cocktails had, I was also impressed with the price – just $5.77 for four pouches at my Walmart. You’d pay that much for one of these drinks at a restaurant, if not more!
We chose the Pina Colada pouches and were quite pleased with them. The slush was just right, not too runny, not too hard, and the flavor was pretty darn good. Sweet, coconuty, with a good dose of pineapple and hardly any alcohol taste to it all, which I like. I could see these being an awesome party drink, as everyone could choose their own flavor. Just add little umbrellas and you’d be set to go!

My favorite is the original Margarita! Yum! Only advice is that these are better for just one person rather than splitting it for two people. They are a bit small.
