I think we can all agree, there’s just nothing like Mom’s home cookin’. It just tastes better, doesn’t it? For that reason I’ve asked my Mom to submit some of her favorite recipes for me to share with y’all each Monday. Let’s get cooking in the kitchen with Mom!
We were in need of a quick dessert this week, so Mom whipped up a batch of boxed brownies and jazzed them up with toffee bits and homemade caramel frosting. The frosting TOTALLY makes takes these brownies from the ordinary to the extraordinary! These would be awesome for a bake sale as they are quick, easy and cost efficient 🙂
Ingredients (brownies):
- 1 package of your favorite brownie mix (or make homemade if you’re ambitious!)
- ½ cup toffee bits
Ingredients (frosting):
- ½ cup butter, softened
- 2 cups confectioners’ sugar
- 3 tbsp. Bailey’s caramel flavored coffee creamer
Make your brownie mix per the instructions. At the very end, gently fold in your toffee bits, making sure not to overbeat. Bake your brownies per the instructions and let cool completely before frosting.
