Johnson’s Baby products are perhaps one of the most iconic brands when it comes to thinking all things baby. If I think of baby lotion, I immediately conjure an image of that big pink bottle and that sweet smell that only Johnson’s provides. It’s automatic, and in fact we still use it to this day, despite not having any babies in the house. That’s why when presented the opportunity to review their Johnson’s Natural Head-To-Toe Foaming Baby Wash, I jumped at the chance!
Johnson’s Natural line features products that are 98% naturally derived ingredients, which when combined with their 100 years of trusted baby care knowledge produces products that are mild, gentle and perfect for all types of skin.
When we first received this product, I was eager to get it open and get a whiff of that signature Johnson’s scent. I cracked open the bottle to discover that this product had a bit of a different scent – one that was less evocative of that instant baby image usually produced by other Johnson product. The scent was clean, yet mild which was nice because it meant we all could use it, including Coach D. So I popped it in the shower and rub-a-dub-dub, we were off to the tub!
The girls used it first and both of them really enjoyed the ease of using the pump. It is the perfect size to use one handed, which is perfect when you’re trying to bathe a squirming little one. If there was one issue, it was only that I wished more product came out in each pump, but that also worked for us because the girls were hard pressed to waste much.
I then tried it for myself, and was quite pleased with how clean I felt after using it. One word of advice – this is not a high suds soap. So it won’t lather quite like a traditional soap, but I did not notice a loss of feeling clean or anything like that. All in all I was quite pleased.
Another great use I discovered for this product? To clean make-up brushes!

Simply give each brush a few pumps, massage the product into the bristle and rinse in warm water. Now not only have I got a clean body, I’ve got clean brushes to boot – awesome!
